New iSaia Program - Let’s Share in the Power of Recognition

Saia announces the new and improved iSaia employee recognition program.

We’re excited to announce the next generation of iSaia, our employee recognition program. Built on enhanced technology, this new and improved program makes it easier for employees across our network to recognize excellence in each other.

The New iSaia

The updated and improved iSaia program, administered by Globoforce, is a single, consistent platform for all employees to recognize one another for demonstrating behaviors and achieving success aligned with Saia’s new core values: Customer First, Safety, Taking Care of Each Other, Dignity and Respect, Do the Right Thing, and Community.

We know that a culture of recognition helps Saia be a place where people want to work. And, we want to celebrate all employees because everyone is critical to our ability to achieve our vision and objectives.

That’s why we’re asking you to make the core values and iSaia a part of your everyday where we can all share in one another’s successes and achievements.

Here are a few simple steps you can take to get started:

  1. Log into iSaia.
  2. When logging in for the first time, you will enter your employee ID number for the Username. The temporary password is 1924. Once you’re logged in, you will be required to change your password.  Your Username will remain your employee ID number.
  3. Read the Program Guidelines and the Recognition Tips and download the mobile app.
  4. You can upload your photo in “My Dashboard.”
  5. Scroll through the Company Awards Feed and add your personal congratulations to recognition already given.
  6. When submitting an iSaia, the Award Advisor will provide the appropriate award level based on the answers given.

Steps to Remember:

Remember, when submitting an iSaia, award messages should clearly convey why recognition is warranted. If an award message is vague or poorly written, the nominator will be asked to re-submit. Below are examples of award messages that will be disapproved.

  • “You’re great! Love working with you!”
  • “Thank you for your help.”
  • “Terrific work on the project. Cheers!”

Also, recognitions will be monitored by the iSaia administrator to eliminate fraud. They will flag and investigate any instances in which approvals are being given that are not in accordance with the program guidelines.
