Company Update

This month's Company Update highlights the new Vice President of Pricing and Analytics, the new Vice President of National Accounts and the new GLF/HAT Terminal Manager.

Batteh Named Vice President of Pricing and Analytics

Matt Batteh has been named vice president of pricing and analytics, which is a new role at Saia. In this new position, Matt will provide leadership and support to the pricing group, and assume the additional responsibility of leading the financial planning and profitability team. He also will be tasked with more closely linking our pricing group to planning and profitability to further execute our longer-term strategy and company growth.

Matt joined Saia in 2015 as a senior financial analyst. Most recently, he had been serving as the director of pricing after working as director of planning and profitability. He holds a bachelor's degree in finance from Auburn University. Pricing Managers Chris Pontiff, Kyle Short, Dmitriy Pankratov, Jacob Breeding, and Harry Smith, along with Director of Planning Stokes Doster, will report to him going forward.

Hadley Named Vice President of National Accounts

Brad Hadley has been named vice president of national accounts. Brad has worked for Saia for over 12 years and was, most recently, a national account executive for the Northeast. During his time in that role, he consistently performed at the top of his peer group and demonstrated excellent rate negotiation and customer relationship skills, managing several of Saia’s largest corporate and national accounts. In his new role, he will be responsible for driving profitable growth in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic states with his team of national account executives.

Brad has a degree in marketing from the University of Rhode Island. Prior to Saia, Brad worked for another freight line as a regional sales manager and director of sales.

Jordan Named GLF/HAT Terminal Manager

Jay Jordan has been named the new manager for our Gulfport and Hattiesburg, Mississippi terminals. Jay started at Saia in 1988 working as a lead dispatcher and supervisor. Most recently, he was the HAT account manager.  Jay is a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi.
