Company Update

This month's Company Update highlights the new Vice President of Sales and three new National Account Executive Coordinators.

Stone Named Vice President of Sales

Eileen Stone has been named our new vice president of sales. In her new role, she will be responsible for leading our field and national account sales efforts in the CIN, HBG, and CGO regions, which have been designated Division 2.

Additionally, Eileen will lead our sales efforts for the new markets we plan to open in the Northeast during 2018 and beyond. She will be domiciled in the CIN terminal. 

Eileen joins Saia with over 25 years in the transportation industry. Over the course of her career, she has held various sales and sales leadership positions, managing both field and national sales. Most recently, she was vice president of sales for a large, national LTL carrier where she delivered consistent year-over-year sales growth. Eileen has a strong, diverse background with experience in LTL, TL, expedited as well as Canada and Mexico. She is a results driven sales leader with a consistent record of achievements.

Eileen holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Delaware.

Three National Account Executive Coordinators Named

As we work to enhance customer service and support our team of national account executives, three additional national account coordinators have been hired to join Garrett Hughes in this role. All three coordinators will report to Jennifer Sturdivant, our new national accounts service manager.

Bailey Oliver started her career at Saia in 2013 and had been serving as a customized account representative. Prior to that, she worked as a capacity specialist/brokerage customer service representative for LinkEx. She studied early childhood education at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College in Tifton, Georgia.

Michael Romo joined Saia in 2012 and had been serving as a special accounts representative team leader in the Customer Service Department.

Kelly Temple started at Saia in 2015 as a customer service special account representative. She possesses an associate’s degree in applied science/information technology from Kaplan University.
