Letters

This month's Letters highlight Saia employees or departments that have received special thanks from some of our customers or the public.

Hi!

I just wanted to say thanks to one of your drivers, GLK City Driver Angel Rivera. I was commuting home from a night class at Northern Illinois University recently and he was ahead of me from the DeKalb-Sycamore area all the way to 90 in Huntley.

He was going slow on the road and I think his caution saved quite a few people from going off the road into a ditch. I just wanted to thank your driver.

Regards,
Mark Raupp

Bob Newton
Regional Manager

Dear Mr. Newton:

I am not accustomed to writing letters to other managers to let them know when a member of their staff is doing a great job.

I am taking the time to let you know, although we are a fairly new account to you, and have "ugly" freight, every time I contact NWK Terminal Manager Scott Mackenzie or NWK Account Executive Dan Gildea, they come through in the clutch and get additional pickups or trucks for us to serve our clients better.

In this day and age, finding anyone willing to do their job to the fullest is rare. It's more difficult to find people who go the extra mile. Please know that Scott has done so for our account.

Best Regards,

This is Sheryl with Integrated Service Solutions. We are kind of a new customer and I just wanted to say that everybody I talk to is quite delightful —  from the person I dealt with in Customer Service and to here locally in Baton Rouge. And, I don't want to forget the drivers. They are wonderful and I try to always give them water and snacks when they are here.  Anyway, I just want to say thank you for your service and it is so great doing business with you. Thank you!
