Company Update

This month, we are highlighting a new senior director and several regional human resource managers.

Gore Promoted to Senior Director, Corporate Communications, Marketing and Community Affairs

Mona Gore has been promoted to senior director, corporate communications, marketing, and community affairs. Mona has been with Saia since March of 2019 when she began as our brand manager. She was then promoted to director of marketing in September 2020.

Mona has driven both internal and external brand development to raise awareness of and solidify the "face" of Saia to our employees, customers and investors. She led in the creation and oversees the development of Amplify and planned/executed the first ever, and subsequent, Saia virtual Elevate meetings, among many other things.

In this new role, Mona will continue to have oversight of Saia’s brand messaging, act as the editor-in-chief of Amplify, and direct our social media content and corporate communications. In addition, she will be the point person of Saia’s environmental, social, and governance (ESG) marketing communications, ensuring all the work Saia does in this area is recognized through all channels (website, social media, public relations, and more). Additionally, she will lead corporate and sales event planning, our Women in Trucking efforts/events, assist in managing the Saia Employee Relief Foundation, and all other Saia charitable efforts.

Prior to joining Saia, Mona had a robust career on both the client and agency side, most recently in the medical device industries. She earned her degree from Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C.
