Greetings!

In this world of customer complaints, I would like to tell you that I have nothing but wonderful comments about your services. My flooring was shipped to me via your company from Georgia to Pennsylvania.

Your company did an excellent job communicating with me about the delivery, which arrived exactly when needed and promised! I had two occasions to speak with your Customer Service Department and was greeted and handled with the utmost professionalism and kindness.

The driver called me 30 minutes prior to delivery so that I could be at the residence. He was extremely kind, professional and considerate. He explained that he did not want to drive the rig onto the driveway due to the extreme weight. He cheerfully unloaded the order and placed it in the garage exactly where it needed to go! I could certainly tell by his attitude that he loves his job! Thank you for making this experience so pleasant!

The email below complementing Saia and GBY Driver Nick Wrobleski was sent to Hunter Douglas, a manufacturer and marketer of custom window treatments in North America, and then forwarded to Saia by Jane Hamilton, the consignee.

On occasion I have directed communications to you when I have had challenges working within your organization. Equally, it is important that when I experience an example of excellence you also be made aware.

There is a driver, Nick, from Saia LTL Freight that has gone above and beyond to ensure that I receive my over-sized shipments in a timely manner.

One would think that a truck driver would have little to no influence on the business experience. That could not be further from the truth. Prior history makes my experience with Nick and Saia even more meaningful. Specifically, when challenged with temporary road weight-limit restrictions this spring and the inability to legally reach my warehouse for delivery, Nick chose to help find a solution so I could receive my deliveries. He could have just sent the treatments back to his freight terminal, but instead he communicated with me and we were able to work a plan out for me to receive those shipments.  

Nick really cares about his clients and the job he does. I can tell because the boxes he delivers are always placed on the pallets with care. The way in which he handles his leg of this process makes my life easier, as I receive my deliveries promptly and the merchandise received is in good shape with no shipping damage.

Saia and Nick are both excellent business partners for Hunter Douglas. I am very happy with this part of my Hunter Douglas experience and I thought you should know. Thank you for your time and consideration.
